This was a moderate frustration. I knew that it didn't QUITE work when I bought it - but that's never really stopped me, has it? I managed to negotiate the price down significantly (50% isn't too bad). He wanted $50, he took $25.. but when I got it home, I found a sticker on it for $10, which makes me think that the SK he was selling it for had picked it up at a previous hamfest. It's OK, though - no hard feelings - he got a "more than fair" price on the B-108 I bought with it (I didn't negotiate him down on that at all). I still need to fix the mike in it, as the dynamic element has broken (can't solder to the little pads on the sides - they're gone!), but what I've heard both on and from this radio so far makes me very pleased.

I think that this is getting a condenser mike from a semi-dead cordless phone.
