Please:

Copy this list of questions, paste it into a PLAIN TEXT EMAIL. (HTML is a pain. HTML is not easier to read. HTML does _NOT_ add value to the information I'm looking for. HTML makes things harder to read, harder to edit, and your fonts annoy me. I've picked my fonts for my email program based on what I can see easily and what I can read comfortably and quickly... you second guessing me with HTML email, RTF email, or heavens forbid PDF email is wasting everyone's time unnecessarily.)

Insert your answers to each question after the appropriate question.

Please also:

• Do not assume that I will read the website to fill in details.
• Understand that I have approximately 3 minutes to read the information in your email, rewrite it as (almost) announcer ready copy, rewrite it again to read nicely on the web, and move on to the next announcement. (Yes. I'm busy.)
• Do not assume that I want to send and receive dozens of emails about your event as you remember minor details. That's why I'm asking all these questions.
• Understand that I want to provide useful information to the community in an interesting format.
• Understand that the more information you provide (up to a point...), the better announcement I can write.
• Know that I don't expect you to be a radio copy writer. I can do that... I just need the information so that I can turn it into copy.

  (all day?  half day?  end time?)

How many hams are needed to support the event?
  (About 2?  about a dozen? about 5 dozen?)

What will these hams be doing?
 (medical/rest/water stops? sag vehicles?
  supply trucks? start/finish coordination?
  Net control stations?  Shadowing event officials?)

What contact information would you like to give out?
