You'll want to listen to these 800 mutual aid frequencies in the future. 
I have heard Pontiac Police using them in simplex mode for special ops.
Also the Sheriff's department has 3 state Tac channels they use as mutual aid.

The trunked system is also using CTCSS tones on the inputs.
Actually they call it a connect tone and it's 97.4Hz. 
Like a CTCSS tone a radio need this to key up their repeater, 
although it isn't passed through the repeater as a normal. 
You will only see it on the input.The following are vehicle 
number assignments. Their unit numbers are the numbers 
on the rear quarter panel of their vehicles. The Oakland County 
Sheriffs Detectives are using D.V.P. (Digital Voice Protection) on some operations.

Motorola uses hexidecimal (Sort of, they actually take the trailing zero and add it in front
of the leading 0 ex: 010 is 001)and the Trunk Tracker uses decimal. Hexidecimal is 
base 16 and decimal is base 10. Hex starts at 0 and ends at F (which is 16) 
Example 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, A,B,C,D, & E. Valid talk groups 
will be divisable by 16, if they aren't chances are they are bogus.
A few exceptions may be system wide talk groups or DVP mode which has 8 added to it's talk group.
