Merit Awards If a club or group has a member or members they would like to honor for their contribution and work in the club or organization, for public service or service to ham radio in general, this is an opportunity to recognize them at the state level. ARCA will be very happy to make time for the presentation on Sunday before the "Ham of the Year" award. Presentations can be of any nature (in good taste), i.e., certificates, plaques, gold watches etc. A member of the issuing group may make the presentation or it can be presented by an ARCA officer. Give this some thought as this is an excellent opportunity to recognize someone who has done more than their share for amateur radio. If you have any comments, suggestions, questions, requests etc., they may be emailed to ARCA at: [email protected] ARCA , or Voice Mail at: (602) 779-2722 or to Norm Martin K7OLD, Convention Chairman at: [email protected] Norm
