03/14/00 - The annual MS-Walk is scheduled for this weekend, March 18 starting at 10:00 am. This is a very casual event, where the participants mostly walk. The course starts at Indian Springs Park, makes a loop across the suspension bridge and then back across the Franklin Ave bridge and right back in front of the suspension bridge and off into Cameron Park (along University Parks Drive). They will walk down to the Redwood Shelter (just under the Herring Ave bridge) and then turn around and come back. Pretty simple, almost all in the shade, and it doesn't start until 10:00 am. Couldn't be much nicer!
Free t-shirts are supposed to be available for us at the starting line Saturday morning. You probably need to be there before 9:30 am to be guaranteed of getting a shirt and finding your place on the course.
