You can build your own hotspot with parts bought on line from Amazon and eBay

All you need is a raspberry pi zero with GPIO pins installed and an MMDVM hat, you can get one with a wee little screen but its really not needed because the pi dashboard give better details than that wee little screen will
You can get a nice custom case from C4Labs and a raspberry pi power supply with the correct voltage and amperage for the device (this is important)
a Mirco SD card of at least 16GB and that's it.
