A 'new' room for Mary and Jessica in 3 easy steps!

The walls had not been painted since before we bought the house.  The girls had colored on them, dented them, and otherwise treated them like a couple of toddlers employeed by a stress test company!

Our concept is a country meadow, "grass" below the chair rail line, "sky" above, and scenery overlayed after that.
 
 

Step 1,  sand sand sand, then sand some more!

Step 2, prime, then paint (sky) then paint again (grass).

Step 3, add scenery and remove the old carpet.

We're not quite finished with all the details of the scenery, but the basics are in place.  The tree and pond are Amy's work, the Sun and sunflowers are Todds "artistic contribution".
