"One of these things is
not like the others...one of these things does not belong."
This is me with my sister Ruth's first grade class from Longfellow
Elementary in Hastings, Nebraska. I spent an hour with them, talking
about Alaska, moose, mountains, glaciers, and the aurora.
No Christmas would be complete
without a picture of the Kearney County Courthouse, in my hometown
of Minden. Minden is "The Christmas City", and puts
on the Christmas Pagent 3 times every winter on three sides of
the courthouse lawn. Thousands upon thousands have attended over
the years. I was a member of the cast for 6 years, from 7th through
12th grades.
I am now classified as a "Griddlin'
Fool" thanks to one of my gifts.
Ruthie, my "big" sister,
tries out her new candle snuffer.
Dad tries his best to score out
a win a round during a spirited game of Cranium, while my sister
Linda (bottom left), nephew Will, brother in law Andy, niece Katy,
and sister Ruth look on. Cranium is a great game...buy it here.
