The Best Power Years

In 1988, my wife, children and I moved to Mauston and moved in with my mother in law.  She was a Juneau County matron, deputy and dispatcher.  She talked me out of applying to become a deputy because of the politics in the department at that time.  This would prove to have been a good move for my career in the future to come.

I eventually landed a job at Best Power Technology in Necedah as a security guard.
