MANAGER'S MESSAGE:
Welcome back John W3GQJ, from Granger. Good
to have you QNI this month and hope you will return to
the net often.
Again, we are in need of some help with NCS on both
morning and evening nets! More 9RN liaison stations are
needed also. If you would like to volunteer for a
particular session please let me know.
My thanks again to Gary, Kirk, Mark, Brent, and Gale for
outstanding service as NCS.
Again, a special thanks to Gale AA9HN, Kirk KO9D, and
Brent N9HZ for picking up NCS when none of us has been
able to be there.
My apologies to KB9TUI Gary, for not getting December
stats promptly to him to post on the website. Hope to do
better this year.
There have been some trying times for some net members in
getting some of the W1GMF, WB5NKD, and other computer
generated training/bulk type messages through to their
destination. Some of the neighboring sections/states have
had an extremely frustrating time doing so. I understand
it even has caused some section nets to temporarily
suspend their 9RN participation because of this...a very
serious problem. I hope this can be resolved soon, but it
is certainly seems to be no easy task. Patience and
perseverance I think will win over all.
We, Newt and I, again thank you all for your
participation throughout 2003 and it looks like 2004 will
be a very interesting year for the NTS and other nets.
73 to all, and thank you all for your participation
------- Dick K9PUI
