IN 57 SESSIONS
The morning net QIN/L (1430Z) reported all
29 sessions with a nice traffic total of 71 and the
evening net QIN/E (0000Z) reported 28 sessions with a
traffic total of 45.
NET MANAGER'S MESSAGE:
Welcome
back Jim, NV9F, New Castle, and Jay, AA9YP, Greenwood.
Also welcome to newcomers from Massachusetts, Jack, N1OTC
and Dave, W1GCA. We hope you return to the net often.
For
our NCS info, EMRI the Eastern Mass./Rhode Island Net
currently meets only 2 kHz higher than QIN, on 3658 kHz,
at the same time QIN meets in the evening, so use caution
in sending stations up that way to handle traffic during
the net. However, after they go to EDST in April they
will meet at 6PM local, an hour before our net, so will
not be a problem.
**DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ALERT**
FOR REPS FROM QIN TO 9RN (9TH REGION NETS) AND CAN
(CENTRAL AREA NET)
AFTER MIDNIGHT SUNDAY APRIL 4:
*9RN/E
WILL MEET AT 0045Z INSTEAD OF 0145Z
ON 3640 KHZ
*CAN
WILL MEET AT 0130Z INSTEAD OF 0230Z ON 3670 KHZ
*9RN/L WILL MEET
AT 0230Z INTEAD OF 0330Z ON 3640 KHZ
In other words, 9RN NETS and CAN will meet one hour
earlier due to the time shift and we get finished with
the evening nets earlier as always in the
summer.....hurrah for summertime in Indiana!
My thanks to Gary, Mark, Kirk, Brent, and Gale for
outstanding service as NCS.
A special thanks to Gale AA9HN, Kirk KO9D, and Mark W9PC
for picking up NCS when none of us has been able to be
there. As you all should know, if no NCS shows up, any
station may go ahead and assume Net Control, so don't be
bashful, and it will be much appreciated.
73 to all, and thank you all for your participation in
QIN this month --- Dick K9PUI
