DASH LIGHTS
Hello and Welcome,
TNX es 73's de KB9SUY.
The Federal Signal Fire Beam the brightest dashlight on the market.
Do you want a trick to make it brighter? Well I have one take the 50 watt bulb that is in
it and replace it with a 100 watt bulb that you can get from Napa auto stores or other
auto stores. Man is it bright during the day it is even brighter at night and that was with out
the ultra flash mirror. I think this one of the best I have seen Federal make except the switch is
a bit flimbsy and easily breaks but that is the only problem I saw and I liked the attachable domes
for different color configs that was awesome.
The Whelen Cadet one of the smallest dash lights on the market.
When whelen made this light there were thinking small and durable but they forgot 2 things
brightness 35 watt bulb what were they thinking and speed though it was ok they made it
faster. They should have put a 50 watt bulb but they didn't other than than that it would of been
a awesome dashlight but it still gets the job done.
The SVP hot shot one tough little light
Its bright with a 55 watt bulb and a fast rotation that throws
the light around it gets you through traffic with ease I would recommened a tri-flash for it to give
you 3 flashes for the dash or deck. An good for just putting on the top for quick warning.
The Tear Drop by Tae signals corp.
Many of you have seen the tear drop it is very famous for being used for volunteer firemanin the early
70's and on up to the 90's. This light is bright and depending on what company can be fast or slow. The
Light I have is fast and throws the light around pretty good. If used I would recommened it to be put on top of
car not that great for dash but will still work.
