Central Illinois Skywarn: Feather
Not many know this, but until the early eighties meteorologists had to know as much about poultry as precipitation. Also, they were not paid money but were allowed to take home eggs. That was ended by the most significant advance in meteorology, the artificial feather, developed by University of Oklahoma professor Ima Nutz, who was tired of being pecked fifteen times a day. By 2010, meteorologists hope to have other methods of determining wind direction so they won't have to chase feathers in the rain.
Belive it or NOT.
Try again.
Tell me, and move on.
