These 24 bit WAV files were recorded using professional audio gear directly from a Motorola GM300 discriminator output.

Transmitter is a FTM-400D with stock mic. 

You will notice a high amplitude (volume) difference from Squelch Noise to voice/digital content since there are no filters/limiters in the audio path. 

For the same reason, analog voice will sound very bright (pre-emphasized by FTM-400D FM modulator).
