Found some MotoTRBO to test with and updated code to transmit while dsd+ is decoding voice

Install using the setup.exe, uninstall via Add/Remove Programs.

The following is required to for application to work properly.

-Discriminator Tapped audio or unfiltered SDR Audio + Virtual Audio Cable (SDR+VAC not tested yet)

-TX radio with a 9600bps data port (Yaesu FT-7800R)

-Microsoft .NET 4.0

-DSDplus (dsd.exe) and it's pre-requisites are in the root of C:\

-Default recording device is set to 48khz, 2 channels

-COM port is available (USB -> Serial works). If you have a USB->Serial cable it must be plugged in prior to launching the application

-Serial cable connected to TX radio (audio, PTT, gnd). The application sets the RTS pin to +5v when transmitting. The RTS pin must be connected to the TX radio's ptt or it won't transmit. (I may implement a DTR, RTS, or DTR+RTS option in the future).

-***MUTE**** the audio output of DSD.exe in the sound mixer. The application passes the raw digital data, not the decoded audio from DSD.

If you are repeating digital data, the audio output MUST be plugged into the 9600bps data port of the analog radio you are transmitting on (or you must modify the radio and bypass all the TX filtering, which will not be covered here).

Usage:
------------------------
Run the application

Select the "mode" you want (p25,dmr,nxdn48,nxdn96,analog).

Set your options (Options>Options) if needed. Options MUST be set prior to clicking "Go".

*If using analog mode, the Audio Threshold settings will appear. These can be changed while the application is running.

Click the "Go" button. DSD+ will launch with the appropriate arguments. Don't close DSD+.

As long as everything is hooked up correctly it should work. You'll have to play a bit with recording / playback levels to get it work and for fine tuning.

This application has currently been tested with the following setup:

-Radioshack pro-95 disc tap > laptop line in (48khz) > Laptop audio out > 9600bps data input of Yaesu FT-7800R.

This has only been tested with p25 phase I since I don't have any DMR/NXDN radios.

***The app doesn't close gracefully, and will probably crash. I'll fix that at some point.

Options
-----------
The options allow you to set the desired latency (don't go over 500ms), recording buffer size, NAC, DMR Slot (not implemented yet), DMR Color Code (not implemented yet), and NXDN RAN (not implemented yet).

The Audio Threshold Sign - this lets you choose whether TX should occur if the audio is greater than, or less than, the current audio threshold.

If repeating digital data with a discriminiator tap (unsupported digital mode, i.e. dpmr), use the "less than" sign. If using analog, use "greater than". When using tapped audio, there is always static if a signal is not being received. When a signal is received, the audio levels drop. If the levels are set correctly, TX will occur only when a signal is received (no static noise).

-----------------------
I haven't seen log files with DMR Voice and a color code, or NXDN voice with a RAN code. If anyone can provide these I can implement the feature quickly. PM me on radioreference: rjschilder.
-----------------------

Analog Audio
--------------
Analog audio uses an audio threshold to determine if TX should occur or not. For analog mode, set the Audio Threshold sign to "greater than" in the program options prior to clicking "Go".

The audio does not need to come from discriminator tapped audio, any input will suffice.

The audio output does not have to go to the 9600bps port of the TX radio. Get the audio into the TX radio whatever way you want.
