Frequently Asked Questions

Q  I stopped getting mail from the mailing list, why?
A  It is likely that your email address was "bouncing" or "undeliverable" and the mailing list admin removed it.

Q  My post did not go out to the mailing list, why?
A  To prevent spam, an outgoing filter is in place, requiring that each poster be a member of the mailing list. This filter requires that the sender's address match the address of a member exactly (case sensitive, too).

Q  I can't unsubscribe, why?
A  You must submit the address to unsubscribe exactly as it is entered in the mailing list. Sometimes, an ISP will insert a host name into an address, making it not match what you may think it is. Sometimes, you may have forgotten which address you subscribed.

Q  I get 2 of each post to the mailing list, why?
A  Well, maybe you subscribed twice with different addresses. If you somehow got subscribed twice with the same address, our sort utility will remove you, automatically. If you don't remember how many times you subscribed or with which addresses, contact the list administrator for help.
