Live Fire Training Burn
October 19, 2002

This live fire training burn was actually a 2 day burn that was attended by almost all members of the Sugarcreek Township Fire Department as well as guests from other area departments.  The first day was actually 10-18-02, but I do not have any pictures of that yet.  The house, on Saturday was host to fire in one room on the second floor for the morning evaluations, and then 4 rooms on the first floor in the afternoon. Rescue Engine 31 was used for fire attack and the back up line used in the burn rooms by the instructors.  Engine 41 had a line off for the back up crew to use if needed.  This fire also provided another bit of training, and that is working with neighboring departments as this area is NOT HYDRATED thus needing tankers.  Wayne Twp. Fire Department and Spring Valley Twp. Fire Department each provided a tanker for the training. WTFD also supplied an air wagon.

Pictures for others are now starting to come in.  I will post as they become available.
