In December of 2007, I picked up a Celestron C65 Spotting Scope.

It was an after Christmas sales, where all scoped were 50% off.

I paid ~$40 for it… it came with a bag, tripod, and it zooms from
30x to 90x.
It is not exactly an astronomy level, but:

toss around grab and go scope.
