Don't Want

Collins made excellent radios. The "S-Line" is a classic work of art and function. They cost too much money. I can afford five other sets of other brand twins for the price of one S-Line set. It's just not worth it. So - I will never have a Collins S-line station.

           

The "Gold Dust" twins are also works of art. Here again, too much money. The KWS-1 is too complicated for my tastes anyway. The Gold Dust twins are not in my future either.

         


The Hallicrafters SX-117 and HT-32B are beautiful radios, but in my opinion, they are "Kissing Cousins" and not true twins.




The Kenwood R-599D / T-599d twins don't grab my fancy. They are too modern and don't offer much in the way of advanced features. I'm not going to get them.







Same with the Yaesu  FR-101 / FL-101
