R1051B with FREDERICK 1203 and 1250 Display
The R1051B is a HF receiver good for 2-30 mhz. Detection modes include
USB, LSB, AM, CW, FSK, and ISB. Two audio outputs are provided. One carries
LSB audio, and everything else appears on the other output. Frequency
selection is accomplished by dialing up the desired QRG. A 0-1000 HZ
frequency vernier is also provided. Overall, a very stable and versatile
receiver, if you have a specific frequency to monitor.
Above the R1051B is a Frederick 1203 FSK demodulator, and a Frederick 1250
display unit. The 1203 features variable shift detection from 100 to 1000 hz.
The 1250 functions as a tuning aid, although the 1203's meter provides help
with tuning also. Anyone recognize the Kantronics boxes sitting atop the
1205? Guess I'm a little consumed by RTTY....
