This template is intended to help the new CW operator get through the first few QSOs without too much stress. It's just a bare-bones QSO, but you probably want it short and sweet the first few times anyway. There is nothing sacred about it's content, so feel free to modify it to suit your style.

I think every operator remembers their first QSO and how nervous they were, it's only natural when you do something for the first time. Remember that the operator on the other end had the same apprehension that you are feeling when he had his first QSO. That should make things a little easier for you. After you have a few QSOs under your belt, you'll find that you can do away with the template and really begin to enjoy yourself.
