U.S.S. Saipan LHA-2
This is the mighty war ship Saipan. This was taken while we were
over in the Mediterranean. We carry many different helicopters including
CH-46, CH-53, UH-1, and AH-1s. We also carry AV-8 Harriers.
We also carry about 150 Marine vehicles including HMMMVs, FAVs, and M-60
tanks. Her mission is to launch and support Amphibious Assaults.
