Motorola Amateur Radio Club - Arlington Heights, IL

KE9MOT

To use the MARC-Arlington Heights station we ask that you join MARC as they donated a significant amount of money and equipment to the AH group. The dues for MARC are only $5. There are no other dues to use the AH station. With Schaumburg so close to AH, no one working on setting up the station wanted to reproduce the MARC club structure. Monthly meetings, repeaters and other activities are available through MARC- Schaumburg. After joining MARC, you will receive the access code to the lock on the shack door.

At the present time, the equipment line-up consists of:

ICOM IC-756 HF/6Mm transceiver
Motorola 2m and 70cm FM transceivers
ICOM IC-7000 0.1-1.3GHz receiver
Two Pentium computers
Three element HF 20/15/10m triband beam
80/40m trap dipole
Four element 6m beam
2m/70cm homebrew omni
Interface and software for PSK31 and other HF digital modes
