LID-CARS was a parody of that great service net, MID-CARS. Both Frank, WB9MMT, and Greg, WA2SFT, were active participants in MID-CARS and decided to start an informal group of ragchewers called LID-CARS. It didn't survive for long.  I wonder why?

As I gaze upon this certificate, I'm amazed that the certificate number is 17. That means their were 14 other members besides myself and the founders.
