| With a solar flux approaching 100 the conditions
were not expected to be at 2009 / 2010 levels and indeed they were not.
However, 21 southern Alaskans were still in with IDs on the 8th
(corresponding with K-index of 1-2), as well as some truly unexpected
DX such as AFN Misawa 1575 and R. Rodenezh 675 from Russia. Misawa and
22nd Alaskan KVOK heard on Oct 9 before dawn after the K index dropped
back to 1. |
