Welcome to Douglas County Oregon ARES^®

DC-ARES is an Oregon 501.c3 Non-Profit Volunteer Organization of Amateur Radio operators.

Mission: To support Douglas County emergency communication lifelines, if traditional methods become ineffective. When activated, ARES members will work to provide support to disaster response through radio or satellite communications equipment to ensure critical information is being transmitted and received to appropriate stakeholders.

ARES^® Douglas County ARES VHF net is scheduled for Monday evenings at 19:00 (7:00 pm) local time.

Roseburg area use 146.900 (-) 100 Hz tone the ARES linked repeater (K7RBG) on Lane Mtn. The net backup site is 145.430 (-) 88.5 Hz tone on Scott Mtn.

Reedsport area use (K7RPO) 145.270 (-) 123 Hz tone on Gardner Hill.

Diamond Lake area use (K7RBG) 147.820 (-) 067 Hz tone on Cinnamon Butte.

Tiller area use (K7RBG) 144.870 (+) 067 Hz tone.

The systems are linked so everyone can participate. Upon mic key up, please wait two to three seconds before talking to allow the systems to link up.
Visitor check-ins are encouraged after the formal roll call.

ARES^® Oregon District 5 (Douglas, Josephine, Jackson, Coos and Curry County) HF NET is scheduled for Sunday at 17:00 (5:00 pm) local time.
On 3964 KHz LSB, 7248 KHz LSB or 1978 KHz LSB, to test radio signal stregnth and quality and discuss issues of concern to District 5 ARES members
South Douglas County (Glendale) Amateur Radio Operators use the Wolf Creek Repeater (King Mtn. 147.340 (+) 136.5 Hz tone. Link into Josephine County and have them relay via HF to the Roseburg EOC.
