Anaheim Volunteer Emergency Response Team (AVERT)
AVERT members provide emergency communications to the Anaheim Campus of Boeing. Members can be called upon to help with building evacuations, providing headcount reconciliation information back to the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) and a communications link between the building emergency coordinators and the Crisis Management Team. AVERT will also be used to set up and handle all communications when the Boeing Hazmat team is activated. During a wide spread emergency, AVERT members will also act as Net control operators, form the EOC, for both Amateur and Commercial radio communications.

AVERT is sponsored by the Autonetics Radio Club and Boeing Industrial Security. Members can also be asked to back up protective services as part of their auxiliary and have been authorized to carry Amateur Radios on campus. Members must be a full time employee and a member in good standing of the Autonetics Radio Club.
