MY STATION AND THE HARP, USA CLUB STATION.

The K6IRF and Harp, USA Club Station . This is located at the back Den of the house.  You would notice that the washing machine and dryer are part of the station. I man that station too every weekend .. he he. Doing some washing and drying while working DX is not so bad. Try it !  : )   The Wife will love you more!

Another angle of the Radio Station. The Rack at the center is where I have the Internet Linking System.

Here is a closer look of our station.  I am working with a Yaesu FT-847. And the  LDG AT-100 Pro Automatic Tuner and the Rigblaster Plus for digital communications. The Laptop is a Fujitsu 450 MHz , Pentium 3. And am using the program Ham Radio Deluxe by Simon Brown HB9DRV for Cat Control and the WinPSKse 2.23 for PSK31.  For logging my contacts, I am using the Amateur Contact Log by N3FJP.

Here is a picture of the Echolink System where the K6IRF-L, K6IRF-R and the *MABUHAY* Conference is running 24/7. We also have here the TCP/IP packet radio Gateway.  The 2 PC on top of the rack is for the K6IRF-R and K6IRF-L.  This are Celeron 400MHz PC.  The one below the PCs is an 8 Port Hub where all PC get it's internet connection via a DSL. The one below the hub is the AEA PK232 packet modem. This works with the Linux Box at the left,  right beside the fire extinguisher.  The radios I have are the Alinco DR430 for the K6IRF-R , the Icom IC2100H for the K6IRF-L, the Yaesu FT2800M for Packet Radio. The other radios are the Yaesu FT712RH, another Icom IC2100 and the Yaesu FT5100 are for remote receive. The system is composed of 5 Static IPs. The interface used is the WB2REM ULI Board for the K6IRF-R and the regular WB2REM interface for the K6IRF-L. The K6IRF-L is also powered by an RF Concepts RFC 2-417, a 45 watts in and 170 watts out 2 meters power amplifier. It is located right on top of the set of radios below right.

At this angle you will see the IBM PC300XL running the *MABUHAY* Conference. It is the one with the Yaesu Sticker. Below that is a rack mount Astron RM60M power supply and right below is the APC - Smart UPS 1400.  By the way the computer at the right of the IBM Monitor is my spare P3 550 in case one of the PC is down.

Dual Band Ringo Ranger, 5 element UHF Yagi, 7 Element 2 meter Quad and 6 meter Vertical.

Another view of the antennas.

17 Element UHF Yagi.  I use this to access our club repeater system in Mt. Lukens. There is a hill in between my location and the repeater site. This antenna surely helps even though it is only 15 feet from the ground.
