MOUNTAIN BIKING - Once in a while I go Mountain biking with friends. I would like to go biking every weekend but I just can't find the time to do it. I always like the ride up the trail on the Claremont Wilderness Park. It is not an easy ride but it does give you a good exercise and it feels great to finish the trail. All of the time I rode in the trail, I never manage to finish it without stopping to get a rest. Plus I always have a time on the trail that I just have to get off my bike and just walk. Just too tired to pedal. I guess I need a lighter bike. Not the one I have now which weighs about 30 lbs. Maybe the wife will buy me one for Christmas. I hope my wish come true : ) ha ha.

Here I am again, tired and I was thinking of getting back to the car, drive home and just watch TV. This is my first mountain biking up a hill. This trail is definitely not for first timers. The agony of defeat !

Erwin/ KF6EZK seems to enjoy the ride down the trail. Actually we are still going uphill and we just stop to take some photo ops. We have not even reach the half of the trail and we are already walking.

HIKING - is another one of our interest. Just like biking the problem again is not much time to spare. I just wish we can find some time this Fall/Winter to get on our hiking shoes and get to some exciting trails.
