The Skyline 50k is a 50K "Ultra" Marithon involving climbs and desents totaling 1,600 feet. The fastest runners finish in just over 3 and a half hours. The race has an 8 hour time limit. The Race starts and finishes at the Lake Chabot Marina and proceeds up fire trails and single track trails to and from Skyline Gate circling Lake Chabot in the process.

The official start time is 7:00 AM. The event is currently scheduled to be held on Sunday Sept 26, 2020.

The Start Finish line is in front of the Cove Picnic area in the Lake Chabot Marina. The Race proceeds west on the West Shore trail to Bass Cobe Trail, to Goldenrod Trail, Down Jackson Grade across the Stone Brige up Grass Valley Trail to Bort Meadow Staging area. From Bort Meadow to to MacDonald Staging area via MacDonald Trail. Continue on Macdonald Trail across Redwood Rd. to The Golden Spike Trail(east) to Bridal Trail to Stream Trail at the Canyon Meadows aid station. From Canyon Meadows proceed to Skyline Gate via Stream Trail. Depart Skyline Gate on the West Ridge Trail to French Trail to Chown Trail to Stream Trail back to Cayon Meadows. Depart Canyon Meadows on Bridal Trail to West Ridge Trail to Golden Spile Trail across Redwood Road to MacDonald trail to MacDonald Staging area. Continue to Bort Meadow Staging area via Macdonald trail. Continue to Stone bridge via Grass Valley Trail. Continue to Marciel Gate via Brandon Trail. Continue to the Finish via Brandon trail to Tow Hee trail to Live Oak Trail and finally the East Shore Trail.
