Packet operations are very prominent in the area with TEXNET, APRS,

TCP/IP, DX PACKET CLUSTER, and BBS systems running twenty-four hours

a day. Prominent nodes are:

6. DXHOG      144.95    DX Cluster Users Connect Node (Elkins AR)

NWAR51 connects Ft.Smith, Russellville, Conway and related areas to

the Fayetteville/Springdale/Rogers areas.

AROK51 connects Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, etc, to

Eastern Oklahoma, Southeast Kansas, and Southwest Missouri.

NAGATE is a TCP/IP BBS and Internet Gateway system. Features WX channel,

callbook server, converse mode, and gateway to other ham radio sites via

the Internet. NAGATE is located in Ft.Smith and operated by KC5NYH.

To use the gateway, you must first pre-register with the Sysop. NAGATE

may be interfaced through AROK51, NWAR51, HOG, MAG, and FSM01.

NWAR61 connects the eastern side of Washington County and Madison County

to the FAYBBS MSYS BBS System and is a forwarding node from N0KFQ in

Branson, Missouri, to FAYBBS in Fayetteville, AR. Also, and X1J4 node.
