3-500 Amp Built by Phil Chambley K4DPK

This very small amplifier measures only 7" x 11" x 13". The internal power supply develops 3000 volts enabling the single tube to produce 800 to 900 watts output. Even with this very small size it still has switch selectable metering and 160 meter coverage.


Notice the bandswitched tuned input inside the shield next to the tube, and the internally mounted fan.

Phil's superbly professional handiwork is evident here in the under chassis view. No corners have been cut to fit all the parts in such a small space. Notice the mounting of the rectifier diodes, filter caps, and filiment choke.
