ZACH'S RAMPS.
When have you seen the man look this serious? Zach, KE4BHZ, President
of KMARC, takes time out from Field Day to cook his delicacy. It
was said that no one who ate them had any mosquito bites during the night,
but because of the gale that blew through, I'm not certain it was due to
the ramps. Seems like the last thing I recall before retiring about
3 AM, was Rick throwing a certain skillet way over the hill into the woods.
Don't guess it would have anything to do with this picture, though.
More pictures and fun to come. Maybe a chance to vote on the Annual
Field Day Awards before we finish. This one above may get more votes
than the exploding Coleman Lantern did one year for Zach.
Here's the man responsible for all those twinkies!! Man, they sure
did come in handy about one or two AM when the old energy got a little
low. Phillip, KC4OPE, and his wife enjoyed Field Day greatly.
Phil had been inactive for several years, and in the last year or so got
back into amateur radio, and started enjoying it again and is on the upgrade
path, also.
