The photo at the left shows Garland at his daughter's home in Louisville.  He is a little more limited in the antenna he can use here, but doesn't let that stop him.  By the way, Garland is 82 now, and his gear in the picture is an Icom 736 transceiver. Garland is very active on both KYN and KTN.

Below is Garland and KC4SSO at the Louisville Hamfest in 1998 before his illness.  Don, KC4SSO, has since become a silent key.
