Page
I would like to publicly thank ham radio operator, Al Waller, k3tkj,
for allowing this Castaldo Family webpage
to be freely published to the world. All amateur
radio operators may wish to check out his site at
the QSL.NET for ham radio and computer
related information.
I would also like to thank the people at
geocities.com for allowing me space at Athens/Crete/7360.

This is the Castaldo family home in Connecticut.
This is the family. The first person on the left is Chris who is
15 and a sophomore in high school. Chris has many interests including golf,
basketball, and biking. Standing is Victoria, 19 and a freshman in college.
Her interests are theater, communications, and of course, parties
and the beach. At the present time, she is studying to be an elementary teacher.
Kathy, a kindergarten teacher, is sitting next to her husband, Rick, a high
school English teacher. Eventually we would like to create separate pages
for each of us, but for now, we are on the WWW!
Thi is the family dog, Jake. He goes everywhere with us and is quite intelligent.
This past summer he helped Rick paint the house.
One of our biggest loves is our home on Flying Pond in Maine.
If you would like to see pictures of our place on the lake
We spent our first summer
there in 1997 and had a great time. We now have many friends in Maine;
many whom Rick (amateur radio call = K1RJC) met
through amateur radio. He is a member of the repeater group CARA in central
Maine. The repeater output frequency is 146.700
with a negative offset and a PL of 100. However, special thanks would
have to be given to Marty Rigoulot, K1PIG, and the W1PIG Kennebec Amateur
Radio Society repeater system. The 449.275
repeater (positive offset and a PL of 100) is placed high above the
Belgrade Lakes Region of Maine. The 443.200
(positive offset and a PL of 88.5), and the 147.000
(minus offset and a PL of 91.5) repeaters are operational in the
Mt. Vernon/Kents Hill/Augusta/Farmington areas of Maine.
If you would like to send Marty some mail,
While in Connecticut Rick can generally be found on
144.310 simplex with his good friends, Bob, K1KBW; Nick, W1ATT;
Ray, N1DVL; Ray, N1XLU; and others.

Since my wife and I are both teachers, we have found great sites on the internet
for searching K-12 lesson plans and other student related projects. If you
are interested, please check some of our links on the
educational sites page.
I suppose this page will be continually under construction,
but if you would like to send us mail,
please feel free to
