Hi Barry. This is Pat Harris, W1HIV writing. During a QSO with Tobe, W1AT, about the Norwood radio club I queried him re their VE activity. "Wonder if they could use any VE support? I am a VE, but haven't done much since Len Umina left the area. He ran tests once a week on a regular basis for a few years. I am a member of the Wellesley Amateur Radio Society (My duty is to get Arline to the meeting) and the Falmouth Amateur Radio Association. The later group is very active, but they are a little distant to provide VE support to. Do support their communication activities for a couple of marathons down there." He indicated that you had brought the matter up on the 210 net the other night. Perhaps I could lend a hand. What assistance do you need? I am retired and generally available with advance notice. Am rusty on the program, but should be able to catch up with your assistance too. I am told that I have attended 37 sessions(from the ARRL VE website).
