" Jim The Wonder Dog " April 1, 1999
Jim and Andy are "Looking Good!"
This is a photo that Pat took when Jim was under construction. Jim's tail and head are being held in place before they were welded.Andy is our nephew and the sculptor, this is his second major bronze work.
The dark areas are areas that have not been "cleaned" up since they came out of the molds.
The bright areas are areas where pieces have been welded together and "finished" out.
The long hours of labor by many have been rewarded with this beautiful garden in Marshall, Mo. We had a chance to visit the garden in July 99, and it is wonderful! The fence is some of the old fence (or duplicate of) that once surrounded the Saline County court house until the 1960's, a very nice connection to Marshall's past.

The "Star" of the show in all his splendor. Jim really looks nice. The detail in the fur and the patina shows his marking very well. Andy spent a huge amount of time on that fur detail, and it payed off.

The Water Garden Club donated the time and obtained the materials for the water falls and the water garden. As you can see they turned out beautifully as well.
