Using the memory channels on the remote base
| First before you try to QSY the remote base make sure it is not in transmit mode. Give your ID & press "##" to put it in receive mode before you do anything. This way if it is linked up your giving your final ID on what it is linked to.
Also note that it will not transmit on the 220 band. But it can receive there. |
To switch between memory channels enter "B" plus the three digit memory channel number.
Example: "B056" will put the radio on memory channel 056 the chart below shows this is 146.580. Example: "B122" will put the radio on memory channel 122 the chart below shows this is 443.975.
When changing between memory channels you will hear a quick burst of tones. This is the computer talking to the link radio. Also it lets you know that your command was entered. |
