Notes

Karl’s (W4CHX) information was well accepted. It’s always to hear status from the ARRL. Karl was well prepared
with HR 1301 and S 1685 not only did Karl provided the computer as well as his printer. Several people read and
signed the printed documents. Karl I think that you being the Section Manager and your willing to attend this meeting was a big plus for the group.

Same goes for Tom (N4TAB) and Frank (N3FRP), I know I always look forward to hear from the Raleigh folks.
Raleigh to Morganton is about 200 mile trip, up and back is 400 miles. Raleigh Guys thanks for being there.
Tom, hope that you had a safe trip to your next stop in Oregon.

Marvin’s (WA4NC), presentation on DMR was very good and informative to the group. A lot learned from Marvin’s presentation on DMR.. I have the radio on my Santa’s list.

NTS, Hal (WB4ZIQ), well done most (including me) were surprised on the number of messages passed. I even had a comment on making sure that we had two daily nets morning and evening as well as all the other nets gathering traffic..
