Field Day 2011

This maybe a possible 2011 Field Day site for our Club.

Air Conditioned Cooking facilities Coffee Pot
Refrigerator Plenty of parking Two inside Restorms

Need to look the the following.
Oakboro, North Carolina

Location: Old Union Power Building on 7th St and Long St

24/27 hwy 205 to Oakboro
Down town Oakboro to 7th St. turn left
go to dead end 1st paved road on the left.

Antenna's can we string them with space available.
High Voltage Line within 50 feet of the building question on RF hum.

This is a small park and big White Building
White enclose building facilities use by a Boy Scout troop as well
as Oakboro meals on wheels. Building is also rented out to the
community.

Two pick net area including one directly behind the White Building

No propane allowed in the at this site or at the main Park by the
commissioner because of insurance liabilities. Charcoal is o.k..

Need a cople of folk to look at the site to see if it will fit our
needs.

On Wednesday the 21st they were setting up for their Meals on wheels delivery.

They normally average about 30 for the eat-in meals

Monday thru Friday guess what time William (KI4JDA) were their.

The Main Cooks or now a days the package folks. The meals looked real good.
