This is the   50^th Year  Anniversary of our  STANLY COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB
And we all trying to think of different ways, times, and places to celebrate this and bring our
Club into the eyes of the public.  This subject has been actively discussed in both of our meetings

This year.  We appreciate the ideas,  keep them coming.

One of our members (Carl…W4EAT) has come up with an idea and has taken it upon himself, contributing his own time and money, and had  “BALL CAPS’   made referencing the 50 year anniversary  for the K4OGB  STANLY COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB.

 In the spirit of good fellowship and  to help promote our year of celebration,  Carl has offered
A free hat to any club members who attends a club meeting this year or  “anyone who  ‘actively
participates’ In any club amateur radio activities”.
 

 Actively participates means:

1. Field Day…..help setting up…..help tearing down…..operating the radio or logging..etc…
2. QRP Day…..same as field day
3. Special Event Station…..same as QRP  and  Field  Day

 The No Hat Activity:  Though our eating meetings in April and December are always a lot of fun,  good food,  and great fellowship And a full tummy when you leave.    This is a no hat activity.
