Delorie Software has ported the GNU C/C++ (GCC/GPP) compiler to the 32-bit Intel environment. This compiler only works with a 32-bit processor, meaning an 80386 DX or higher, but will work with a 16-bit operating system, such as DOS or Windows 3.1. While the DJGPP compiler will work under Windows, it will not generate Windows code. In compliance with the terms and conditions of distributing the DJGPP package, all source code and binaries that make up DJGPP are provided on the CD-ROM. Please check Delorie Software's Web site for updated software at http://www.delorie.com. To find out what the latest packages are for DJGPP, please choose the Zip Picker. After you answer a few questions, all files you'll need will be displayed. Also, the latest help documents are available for you on this site. |
