Rig, Antenna, and Shack

Most folks would call the tall thing a building. We call it a base for our antenna tower. Why buy a big tall antenna tower when you can put a small antenna tower on top of a tall building? (The shack is on the ground floor, however, which makes for seven floors worth of coax cable run ....)

Our antennas peeping over the top of the building. Most of the tower is hidden. The top antenna is a Nagara TA371/3040 (7MHz, 14MHz, 28MHz). The bottom antenna is a Create CL6DXX (50MHz). YRP being a research park focusing on wireless, ours is not the only antenna on the roof.

On top of the building is a raised platform for air conditioning heat exchangers etc. On top of that raised platform is our antenna tower.

In a corner of the "1 Bankan" building, first floor, nestled between the library and the vending machine, is the door to our shack. Many thanks to YRP for renting us the space.
