 In this page you will find the photos regarding our Mini DX expedition at Anfora Island, in the Grado Lacoon, Friuli Venezia Giulia , ITALY held in 16 & 17 of July. We made roughly 1000 QSO in less than 10 hours of pure radio operations, 650 QSO in CW (IV3LZQ) and 350 in SSB (Paolo, IV3PUT) operating as IV3LZQ/p and IV3PUT/p in 20m and 40m; qsl via buro or via direct, see my address on home page for IV3LZQ and WWW.QRZ.COM for IV3PUT. Our rigs were two IC706 with bandpass filters for multitx operation, homebrewed by IV3LZQ, see in the picture above sitting on the top of IC706; antenna were almost full size verticals for 20m & 40m very close to the sea water, we had to watch for the high tide, crabs & seagulls !
The most far away OMs worked were some ZLs on 20m CW; a lot of JA and some West Coast K stations also finished in the logs ! In the sidebar you will find the link to the various photos, detailing the site of operations, the antennas used and some nice picture of the beautiful Anfora Island.
