The people, here, live in two small villages: the larger Stroboli (about 400 people) and the smaller Ginostra (about 40 people only). This last, Gnostra, can be reached only going round the island in the sea. Infact, the path across the island has collapsed for the volcano eruptions. This is stil active and if you come to the island you can "listen" the "voice" of mount Stromboli.

Our island expedition was dedicated to Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini. They came to the island in 1949 to make the movie "Stromboli" and they falled in love here.
