My Book: Waves to the Moon
All the articles and resources you find on this site are freely available under the Creative Commons licence. This remains an open space for sharing knowledge and passion. Alongside these materials, I have published a personal project: my book Waves to the Moon, available in both English and Italian, in paperback and digital editions. It is a memoir that weaves together childhood memories by the river, encounters with wise figures such as Giovanni at the old hydroelectric plant, and the discovery of radio as a means of carrying the human voice beyond the horizon. From the gift of a first walkie‑talkie at Christmas to my very first Earth–Moon–Earth (EME) contact, the book tells how invisible waves can become bridges of memory, imagination and connection. Waves to the Moon is not only a tribute to radio amateurs, but also a journey through the history of communication, the pioneers of transatlantic transmissions, and the emotions of those who, sitting at a radio set, feel part of a wider world. The book is a paid publication, released as an independent editorial work, but I have kept the price as low as possible so that it remains accessible to anyone who wishes to read it. In this way, the site continues to offer free resources for everyone, while the book represents a more intimate and complete path—an invitation to join me on this journey through waves, memory and connection.
