The USA 300 Grid Award -  Certificate awarded to the amateur that works and confirms 300 USA Maidenhead grid squares.

The USA 500 Grid Award -  Certificate awarded to the amateur that works and confirms 500 USA Maidenhead grid squares.

The USA 600 Grid Award - Certificate awarded to the amateur that works and confirms 600 USA Maidenhead grid squares.

The USA Master Grid Award - Plaque awarded to the amateur that works and confirms all 700 USA Maidenhead grid squares.

The Worked All Alaska Grids Award - Awarded to the amateur that works and confirms all  grid squares within the state of Alaska.

The Worked All Texas Grid Award - Awarded to the amateur that works and confirms all  grid squares within the state of Texas. 

The Worked All California Grid Award - Awarded to the amateur that works and confirms all  grid squares within the state of California. 

The Interstate 35 Grid Award - Awarded to the amateur that works and confirms all  23 grid squares that Interstate 35 passes through (from Laredo, TX, to Duluth Mn). 

(For the above awards, the Alaskan grid squares that have to be contacted include all squares including and EAST of the town of Unalaska in the Aleutian Islands. The Master Award may be difficult; just look at some of the more remote areas in Alaska that have to be contacted! There are only 8 grids for Hawaii, so that shouldn't be a problem.)

THE KM5EW MAIDENHEAD GRID LOCATOR AWARD SERIES

RULES

The purpose of this award series is to promote the challenge of making contacts with maidenhead Grid Locators on all HF frequencies for 1.8 to 30 MHz. SWL is okay under requirement 3 as explained below.

The general requirements are as follows:

1) All contacts must be made from within 50 miles of your home location

2) The ARRL World Grid Locator Atlas and the ARRL North American Grid Locator Map will be the guidelines used for the entire award series. 

3) GCR list will be accepted with two amateurs signing the list, regardless of class of license, confirming that the applicant has the required cards. SWL's must have two officers of SWL club sign GCR list. You must possess the cards, and should be prepared to send the cards upon demand with proper return postage to the Award Custodian, should it be deemed necessary.

4) Complete GCR lists of confirmed locators for each award are required. No partial lists will be accepted.

5) Contacts must have been made after January 1, 2000.

6) No repeater or cross-mode contacts will be accepted.

7) Maritime mobile will be accepted, but aeronautical mobile contacts will not be accepted for the entire award series.

8) Fees: US$ 5 for W/VE; US$8 DX for each award, drawn either on a US bank or International Postal Money Order. IRC's or stamps will not be accepted nor honoured under any circumstances.
