On 1999, with the
addition of other world class operators and with few added gear and antennas,
we tried to achieve a bigger score with our field-day style setup. Mr.Murphy
was very active: the 1998's nice QTH was sold, without any forewarning,
just a week before the QSY on the island and we had to setup the station
in a very bad backup site.
Anyway we are happy
for our final result: 20% more than in 1998 .
IH9P'99
The 2000 operation
will pay the lack of K7FL, ZS6EZ and ZS6NW because personal commitments
but will have a new important contribution: the core of the italian M/S
team IO2A joining IH9P Team Pantelleria.
Some upgrades to
the antenna sistems and a new and better (Mr. Murphy...??) QTH, will help
us to have a new fantastic experience of Contesting, HAMming and real Friendship
!
