I was born in 1984 and interested in amateur radio since I was 15 years old, Ham-licensed since october 2002. At this time, I held one third class license, which means that I transmitted only on VHF and UHF in SSB, APRS, Packet, SSTV etc using my old callsign, HB3YGA. I must say that this two bands can provide you a lot of fun, but my idea was obviously to continue working and get the first calss license.

Therefore, I have worked since february 2002 and passed the exam in july and since, my call is HB9TMW.I only work SSB and digital modes on HF, on all bands except 160m.

I am still a student and at this time, I am studyind chemistry and biology in a high-school in western Switzerland and I intend to study medicine at university.

je suis né en 1984 et suis intéressé à la radio depuis l'âge de 15 ans, radioamateur depuis octobre 2002, où je possédais une license de classe 3 (indicatif HB3YGA). Je ne travaillais alors qu'en VHF et UHF en SSB et en modes numériques (PSK, APRS,Packet etc).

Continuant à travailler (sporadiquement et non d'arrache-pied), je passai la license HB9 en juillet 2003. Dapuis, j'active sous l'indicatif HB9TMW en phonie et modes digitaux sur les bandes supérieures à 160 m.

Etant toujours étudiant au gymnase en biologie et chimie, j'ai l'intention d'étudier la médecine à l'UNIL.
