Homebrew Telescopic antenna mast

Most of the towers we see are commercially built and they are so neatly done that the specialized components suggest that some of what we need would not be readily available or difficult to produce. What I present here is a construction plan for a telescopic tilting tower that can be used to support a FB23 beam antenna for 20, 15, 10 meters and VHF /UHF beams antenna. It could serve as well to support a wire sloper or an inverted "V". For the construction I took and used many solutions and ideas from factory or military solutions like RDM-12 or Versatower. The downtown is not suitable for antenna construction so the tower was built at the my weekend house.

Accurate cutting and welding work is essential for sliding telescopic elements into each other. The lifting pulleys are placed at the mathematical centre of gravity of the triangular elements.

The tower is tilted and raised by winch. My goal was to achieve the simplest mechanical operation.
